Dew Point Trend 2026

When air cools, it reaches a temperature where it can no longer hold all its moisture, causing water vapor to condense into liquid. That temperature is the dew point. It is a precise measure of atmospheric humidity, unlike relative humidity. Meteorologists use it to forecast fog and frost, while pilots and farmers rely on it to predict crop conditions and flight safety. Even HVAC engineers use it to prevent mold in buildings.
